Just realised that the root of my sleeplessness is RLS, 2 hours per night if I am lucky.

2 hours per night if I am lucky, always had 'jumpy legs' but lately wow impossible to sleep. My current plan is cut down on caffeine, nicotine gums, get more exercise, and hope this helps I am currently taking herbal sleep tablets but even they don't work

Hi, when you say jumpy legs can you explain a little more what you mean. Are your legs just jumping out of your control as in involuntarily? Do you have the URGE to move your legs? Do you get unpleasant sensations in your legs before they start jumpin? Are you on any medication? Have you started any new medication recently that has coincided with the increase in your symptoms, ?

I too have suffered from RLS and very annoying as you just have to move your legs. I was given advice about it and happy to pass it on as it works for me. It's called GOODNIGHT MAGNESIUM SPRAY from either Holland and Barrett or Amazon. A few sprays on the legs, massage in and get into bed . There are three kinds and it's the purple jacket covered spray you should go for. I wish you luck and hope it helps.
