Typical!!! The noupro patch works great and stoops the twitchy legs but I seem to have a bit of insomnia now as every night I sleep for 3 hrs in broken bits and the rest I'm awake! Ya can't win no matter what!!

Probably you got into the routine because of being up during the night with Amelia? Neupro failed me tonight, do you find that some nights it doesn't work?

Yes some nights it does not work but I think it's because it's maybe a dud patch ! Some stick ok others have no sticky at all! I was awake before Amelia was born so I think it's insomnia but I am listening out for Amelia crying !

Hope you get sorted soon x

I find most Dopamine Agonists cause insomnia and I have been on a few ! I am on Pramipexole now, which are very good for my RLS and much better than the patches, and Zopiclone to help me sleep but I still wake up at about 3 am every night for a while !

I was on pramipexole for 3 years then it stopped working for me, the patches work good but since I had my baby it does not work as good as it use to ! I did change a few week ago to ropinarole but it did not work so I went back on the patches and I'm on 4 mg the highes dose. Don't know what else to try as I have been on others that don't help my legs!

I've had exact same problem. I've downloaded a meditation app on my iPad and just play that each time I wake. It's so boring it sends me off to sleep and stops my mind from wandering onto other things.

Worth a go x

I take Requip 4mg XL which are brilliant for my legs but unfortunately cause insomnia. I take Zoplicone every now and again to help me catch up. At least if you are awake and the legs aren't jumping it's possible to sit and watch TV or read. Good luck!
