As I am constantly forgetting to order my medication, I thought I would get my chemist to order them for me. I am wide awake cos they never picked it up. Not happy.

Stupid chemist
Forgetting to do things comes from lack of sleep...the vicious cycle of RLS. Tou need to prompt your memory by keeping a diary & getting into the habit of checking it every day.
Use those yellow sticky notes & post reminders to yourself to pick up your medication. Go in & chat to your chemist about your tiredness/forgetfulness & see if they can deliver regularly every month a few days before you run out.
Take care & don't despair...
I'd try not to rely on a chemist. 10 days before the medicine runs out I leave notes around to remind me to take a request up to the GP for another prescription and drop it in. Then I leave the notes up to remind me to collect the presription and take it to the chemist. The most awkward bit is when the chemist says it will be there the next day and it's not delivered until 1 or 2 days after. That's why I start getting them so early. I can at least get some sleep while the chemist sorts things out. We should ask the chemist for the details of the delivery people and send notes of complaint to them emphasising why we need them.
I got into the habit of doing this because I also have epilepsy and found the chemist didn't always have the anti-epilepsy medicine.
One thing with RLS I know I'm in for a rough night if I don't have the pills.
Ive tried alsorts to help me remember things. Even after a few seconds information is forgotten. It didn't help that in my previous employment i suffered a massive blow to the head. So this and the rls meds plays havoc with my memory.
Get one of those 7 day tablet dispenser things that look a bit like a book. At the end of 1 day in the week (doesn't matter which, fill in the whole dispenser with that week's pills. Then you can see how many remain in advance and know which need ordering before the current 7 days have been taken. They are expensive for what they are but so what?
