Big thanks to Daragh and all the great RLS Society team for the AGM on Saturday. So good to hear how much is going on - the research into various treatments etc, as well as the really heavy lifting work of finding ways to educate GPs and nurses. Yes, we need much more research into the causes of RLS, but that needs serious money - way beyond the society's scope at the moment - but the work the society is doing raising the profile is SO important. The medical awareness card is a brilliant idea - I look forward to getting mine and flashing it around every time I'm booking a seat in the cinema etc. Even if they can't/ won't give me an aisle seat, at least it will help to raise awareness.
