I have used the patch in the past. All meds can give side effects, it just depends on the individual on how your body reacts. I hope you are starting on the 1mg patch first. I started on the 1mg patch then the 2mg then the 3mg. After that i came off it as 3mg is the highest dose recommended.

I use these, the only recommendation I can give is if you have sensitive skin be careful about putting them on your torso like it suggests as they itch like made after a few hours, An d for some reason they tend not to stick very well on my legs I assume as I am moving around still but I put them on the tops of my arms even though hubby hates it as he said it looks like I am wearing nicotine patches and trying to give up smoking. As Elisse said though gradually work up 1mg at a time and they will tell you when they need replacing or if they have come off as your legs will start again, but they do give great relief for a while. I have had mine for a few years now and they are only just starting to become not effective enough so am going to have to start looking for something else. I hope you have some success and relief with them and get a good nights sleep.xx

Hi ya, this is my second week with the Neupro patch and I haven't noticed anything different I increase it again on Sunday to 2 patches and I will see if that helps, it sure upsets your stomach, and yes I take the fentanyl patches and oxy for RLS but I will let you know if the second patch changes things up, are you on the patches as well ?

Have a great day !

No I take zomorph for my rls.I was just curious as I know those strong painkillers can be excellent for rls.Have you tried any more of the rls meds? I used to be on mirapex but changed to zomorph a few months ago and having really good results from it.Its nearly bedtime here in UK and no signs of rls.good luck x

Yes I've tried everything on the market for RLS, the best result was the fentanyl and oxy it takes the edge off I have the worst pain and it never ends 24/7 this is about my 15 yr with it.

I'm so glad to hear you have had good results, it's such a strange syndrome the worst ever to discribe. It has sure changed my life around.
