NHS England guidance on Pregabalin for pain

CCGs have been instructed to distribute guidance for all GPs to carry out review of all patients on long term Pregabalin prescriptions.

Switching patients prescribed for neuropathic pain onto the branded form of Pregabalin Lyrica, all new prescriptions should also be for Lyrica when patients will require long term use.

Personally Lyrica all that I have used I understand withdrawal symptoms from pregabalin can make us worse from my chemist when my tablets were reviwed.

GPs will call me if my tablets should change.
