I do not know what to do.
In case of infection, additional
Pulmicort
and Salbutamol to the nebuliser. I checked all these new drugs to see if they were on the NHS list. It turned out that they are.

I have Seretide 250mcg x2 puffs twice daily and
pulmicort
nebs 2mg twice daily. They’re saying the high doses of inhaled steroids are the cause of my infections, but I’m colonised with pseudomonas and have nebulised antibiotics to keep under control.

switching to relvar from pulmicort
I am on
Pulmicort
100 2 puffs twice a day my Asthma nurse has suggested that I change to relvar 184 to try and control the severe oral thrush I continually get, I’m a bit dubious as I rarely need to use a reliever and in the winter I am able to reduce the
Pulmicort
to 1 puff twice a day.

Bronchiectasis and use Pulmicort with tooth issues.
Hello, I have Bronchiectasis and use
Pulmicort
. I cannot do this at the moment due to a temporary filling. Will be in until after Christmas. Worried the force may pop it out when nothing open. I have fragile teeth. Had to stop using my Acapella.

I’ve just been given a ‘
pulmicort
turbohaler’ to take morning and night - it may sound silly but I feel like nothing is coming out?

PLEASE HELP - constant coughing and dry preventers not helping at all
The consultant moved me from the brown (
pulmicort
) preventer to the red (symbicort)preventer - 2 puffs twice daily. But there is no difference in the coughing. I really don’t know what to do as feels like I can’t breathe sometimes.

Antivirals in NZ
The only other intervention which can be helpful for immunocompromised patients who have covid 19 infection, is using
pulmicort
inhaler within the first 14 days of infection, for up to 14 days. It has been shown to be safe and reduce the need for oxygen, ventilation, respiratory complications.

Pulmicort turbohaler
I was prescribed a
Pulmicort
turbohaler last week by my gp after sending two weeks of peak flow readings. When you use it can you taste anything as I don’t know whether I’m actually using it properly , I have an appointment with the asthma nurse Friday but just thought I’d ask on here .

Nebuliser
Pulmonologist has taken me off revlar ellipta and incruse as he said it’s not getting into lungs and prescribed atrovent and
pulmicort
nebulisers. After 6 days I’m certainly no better and maybe worse. I’ve finished the antibiotics and weaning off prednisone.

Best Inhaler for Chronic Bronchitis
Pulmicort
does not and Symbicort made my lungs feel stiff and I could never get a deep breath. I also had lots of nasal congestion and many chest infections during the years I took it. What inhaler has best helped with your Chronic Bronchitis? Thanks for listening. CK.

Anyone else on Pulmicort and Omnairis
Earlier this year I had insane sinus issues and my GP recommended
pulmicort
turbohaler which gave faster relief than I expected. Since taking
pulmicort
I have had fleeting moments of being 100% - although I feel like I am nearly 100% most of the time.

Budesonide (Pulmicort) working well, except for mild chest congestion
Earlier this year I started having bad sinus related discomfort/pain and my GP put me on
Pulmicort
turbohaler (200ug, budesonide), on top of my omnair nasal spray (Ciclesonide).

Add on drugs that are usually prescribed by a consultant part 1 (LAMAs, add-on inhalers, theo)
ADD-ON STEROID INHALER - Alvesco/Qvar/
Pulmicort
etc I won’t go into this too much as I think I’ve already covered this in previous posts!

Fostair: virtues & vices
I've tried a variety of other inhlaers over the past year: Q-var,
Pulmicort
, Seretide 50, Flixotide (with and without either formoterol or Salmeterol). None of them work anywhere near as well as the Fostair. Thus, I'm at a bit of a dead end.

COPD... Pulmicort/Symbicort for out of breath issues only?
Hi All, I think after trying a few different inhalers, I may try
pulmicort
or symbicort as this doesn't seem to cause people issues? If possible I'm fine with ventolin as I know that, so may just get the budesonide on its own (
pulmicort
?)
