Choking on water, coughing, short of breath
I am on a fair amount of medication, including 300mg Uniphyllin twice daily, Symbicort 200/6 twice daily,
Pulmicort
and Montelukast. Since January, I’ve now had my 4th (or 5th) lot of steroids for what was described as “crackling” in my lower right lung.

Steroid inhaler list
He has pulmonary sarcoidosis and is on a
pulmicort
inhaler. Does anyone have the list of inhalers that tells you if they qualify as being in the vulnerable category? I saw it yesterday, but I don’t remember if it was on here or on the BLF site.

Fed up
My current inhaler set up is symbicort 4 x 2 a day,
pulmicort
2 x 2 a day, respimat 2 x 1 a day, montelukast 10mg daily and fluticasone nasal spray nightly. I'm currently seeing a respiratory medicine specialist and he's as much good as a convertible in the rain.

Inhaled steroids update
A few days ago I posted about how first Seretide and then
Pulmicort
both made me lose my voice and gave me a swollen throat. My doc took me off Seretide and I was now expecting
Pulmicort
to suffer the same fate.

Pulmicort vs Symbicort
I’m wondering under what scenarios a doctor might prescribe
Pulmicort
, instead of Symbicort or Seretide, as a preventer medicine. - thanks.

Alternative for inhaled steroids
My doctor started me on
Pulmicort
200 (x4 daily) and to my disappointment, it seems to be going the same way. Does anyone know what the options are for non-steroidal treatment, if I have to go that way? I either haven’t been able to find out, or haven’t understood what I was reading.

Pulmicort side effects
My asthma wasn't well controlled over the last 3 months and I was on 200/6 symbicort x 4 twice a day so that's 1600mg budesonide a day then my asthma doctor has told me to go on an additional
pulmicort
inhales which give me an extra 800mg daily dose of budesonide. That's 2400mg daily of budesonide.

Can antihistamines help during an asthma flare up ?
Seretide is still not working and
Pulmicort
seems to make my symptoms worse. My symptoms are currently a burning and itching sensation in my chest (it feels like my lungs are on fire as well as the trachea and even my nose sometimes!)

Finally started the short course of oral steroids
Also, I took
pulmicort
for 2 weeks (no effects) so I decided to stop until I finish the oral steroids. I'm not sure however if that's what I was supposed to do, I was afraid to take too much steroids. Thank You!

I am on a
Pulmicort
400 one puff twice a day. And blue inhaler every hour when displaying breathlessness. It was great to see a doctor and nurse who believed I was asthmatic even though I have never wheezed.

Also hoarseness could be from

Exacerbation
So yesterday I was told I had a chest infection bearing in mind I have no cough or sputum so was prescribed antibiotics, medrol, Atrovent, ventolin and
Pulmicort
back on oxygen for 18 hours. She did a spirometery which said was very low and charged me 50 euros for the test!

Anaemic
Why would iron tabs affect my breathing my SATs is 86% they upped my
pulmicort
inhaler to double does twice daily not helping yet that was 3 weeks ago using more of my ventolin. Is it normal to have aneamia cause all the other problems never been Aneamic before.

So sick of being sick!
I have use inhailers like
Pulmicort
and Breo which helps with less flair ups but currently I am uninsured and I can't afford those inhailers. They cost $200-300 and I can't seem to find a cheaper price for any of them. Does anyone have any ideas for me?
