a crisis this week

My mum was rushed to hospital this week, and panicked us all. She's doing ok though- apart from the PSP she's as strong as an ox, and this is her first chest infection.

Hi Fiona,

Hope your mum is doing well. We always worry if any of us get ill, in case we pass it dad. Similar to your mum, my dad is also quite resilient. However, since he was diagnosed, he's been prone to lots of urine infections, not sure if this is normal with PSP.

Thankfully, my mum is now out of hospital;she got back to the nursing home yesterday. She's so much happier to be with the people who know her and can understand her attempts at communication. They got the doctor out again last night to her, but she's doing so much better than we'd feared.

Thank you for all your warm wishes. They really do mean a lot :)
