I’ve tried this dysphagia cup with my mum but she couldn’t cope with it as she can’t seem to coordinate putting her mouth around it and sucking. As with so many things you find something useful too late! Here are the details lifemere.com/rosecup. I have the blue and purple spouts. There are other attachments like a spoon and sipper but I can’t see any advantage for mum since she can’t feed herself at all. If anyone is interested please send me a private message with you address and I’ll post it to you. I hope someone can make use of it!

Messier,

That is really kind. I think that looks just the thing Ruth could use. I have not heard of it before but watched the video. The main issue is drinking at night where she is using a child's bottle with a straw that leaks all over the bed. I will PM you in case no one else has taken up your kind offer. As you say it is hard to stay one step ahead of this horrible disease.....!

RoseCup arrived safely. It looks as if it will be really helpful at this stage. Thank you so much again (and thank you for the card!).
