I just wanted to say Happy International Womens Day to you all but especially my mum Brenda.
She is like all of you going above and beyond in the name of love to look after my Dad who has PSP.
I am very proud of her, the way that she has just taken this bloody awful situation by the horns and isn't giving in. Especially as she isn't particularly mobile or young herself.
Love you mum

What a beautiful picture and post! Thanks for sharing that. It brought tears to my eyes.
Happy International Women's Day, one and all.
The technology is thwarting me, and I'm having trouble copying the link, but my amazing sister-in-law, Homa Hoodfar, wrote an article for this day published at : theconversation.com/iranian-women-risk-arrest-daughters-of-the-revolution-92880
Some of you signed petitions asking for her release when she was imprisoned in Iran in 2016. It's an inspirational article about the women's movement today in Iran. Worth checking out. So much courage, some great photos.
Thanks again, Pjgil, for sharing that wonderful moment. You and your Mum are just lovely.
Brenda wish I had known that! My daughter had a lot of colours but have to admit that pink was a favourite. Then my poor Granddaughter had to go through it!! Never see either if them in pink now! 😁.
That is a sweet photo of you and your baby daughter. What a nice young woman she is to think of that today, and coming up to Mother's Day too. You obviously mean a great deal to her and rightly so.
