last two weeks

things have been better for the last couple of weeks, however, leg pains and cramps still a problem. muscle relaxers are helping, but still wake up early with pain in my left leg (my left is my worst side) sometimes i have to take my morning baclofen early. spring has arrived here in west texas and the wild flowers are blooming. this is the time of year best for camping and hiking before it gets blazing hot. i don't think hiking trails were designed for walkers so i guess my wife and i will be spending spring break at home. i have been able to get outside some sitting on the ground and digging weeds (they are exceptionally bad this year). fatigue and tiredness the worst right now. i seem to have no energy after a few minutes of work. 1 hour at physical therapy wipes me out for most of the day. otherwise just one day at a time. hope everyone out there is doing well.

Glad to hear that you are getting outside. Weeding is taxing at the best of times so don’t judge yourself for that! It is sad to let go of hiking goals, I hope you can find peace observing the nature around you, conserving your energy and letting your thoughts & memories run free. Those Texas bluebells are really something.

Wish I was in West Texas - sounds very glamorous - but still here in East Sussex with spring not yet here.

Ruth used to get pain in her right leg as she had dystonia (the leg turned in). Botox injections into the foot and calf stopped the pain and it never returned. (The leg still turns in).

Richard (waiting for spring) 🙂🙂
