The PSP-CBD Ice Cream Challenge 2022 Day 8

Oak Island -The Smith's Cove Excavation

Seems appropriate for the finale of season 9 today. Acorns (fans of the show) will get this. BTW, the lettering is made from milk chocolate... I used a mold.

The first letter 'T' represents the lead cross found on the shoreline. I made the cofferdam with graham wafers and corn syrup 'glue.' The sea from vanilla ice cream with added food colouring. Chocolate-covered mini-marshmallows make up the retaining walls on each of the dam's corners. I made the exposed sea bed from chocolate vanilla swirled ice cream with added chocolate cookie crumble. The exposed

U-shaped structure was made of (closest to the cofferdam) chocolate biscuit fingers scraped clean as was the ancient ship's wharf. I piled those scrapings in the back of the dump truck. The small pile of peanuts (semi-Y-shape) make up the box drain. Last, but not least is the chocolate-covered caisson and its graham wafer base, surrounded by peanut rocks.

Nope - Oak Island has not made its way to Blighty (I don't think) so all lost on me. (But we are only just finishing the 62 episodes of Breaking Bad. Ruth is really enjoying too - I promise!).Richard
