I’ve never heard that and my husband didn’t have any other underlying health conditions when he was diagnosed with PSP. When he was younger he suffered badly from Ulcerative Colitis for several years when nutrients were stopped from circulating to his brain and around his body. I asked our GP if this could have been the cause of PSP but he couldn’t give an answer.

I’m not sure if they are linked. My wife has PSP and suffered from Iron deficiency all her life. Maybe it is something for the researchers to look into.

I have always wondered if there may be a link because my husband had B12 deficiency for years that was often neglected by his GP.

That’s interesting my hubby was recently diagnosed with low iron and anemia but had regular blood test yearly before that so don’t think he had it previously If anything I personally think his CBD is possible linked to chemicals he used in forestry work I wonder if we will ever know

My husband has been recently diagnosed as having anemia. Never had it until December. It was fine in October 2020. We are still trying to figure it out. Awaiting some blood test results.

I think maybe It’s due to medication I’m sure some meds deplete the body as at one time he was even had low sodium

Maybe, but medsdidnt change much in quite some time. I have to check that though. Who knows? Apparently not the medical professionals 🙁

My husband has CBD and he was told he had low iron around the same time he started developing symptoms, specifically a slight tremor in his right hand. He was taking a blood thinner and they thought the blood thinner was causing the anemia and low B12.

My hubby has a tremor in right hand he is not on blood thinners only aspirin he is on anti seizure meds though and blood pressure meds think his iron levels are nearly back to normal since being on iron pills for a couple of months

My dad has CBD and is slightly anemic. Not sure if iron deficient or not.

My wife has always had a very high iron count and her PSP symptoms started in her forties. I have also not seen this mentioned in this forum. so I have to say no.
