Good Morning to all brave lovely people , pray & hope you all doing your best(aamin) I live in worcestershire area. Is there any group in Evesham or Tewkesbury with PSP? I just want my hubby to meet others same as his situation. Doctors says in August to arrange therapies for him but we didn't receive any yet. His speech is not that great and falls are scary. Can we arrange privately? Is there any suggestions please? Love & Prayers always

Hello Mimi
My wife Jackie has MSA and we live near Pershore. I remain a member of this lovely community because I was inspired to encourage the setting up a community for MSA after seeing the wonderful support given here. You are probably aware there are many similarities between MSA and PSP.
We have been helped considerably by St Richards Hospice in Worcester. Whilst they are limited in what they can do face to face due to Covid, they are offering on line support. It’s worth a try.
Take care, Ian
Bless you Ian, thanks for replying. I will definitely call them soon. My kind regards for you to reply so quickly. Blessings for your dear wife and your strength. stay safe and lol
And setting up the community is the best way to help each other in difficult situation like ours. I wish you good luck and hope because you have such a good deed behind it.
Regards
Hello Mimikhan
We're in Worcester, when meetings were on, we went to the Solihull Group as it is easy to get to. We had a choice of that and Cheltenham. Just been looking at the map of groups and Cheltenham doesn't seem to be going now. The closest to you is Studley, details at pspassociation.org.uk/event... .

Hello there
There used to be a group who met at Churchdown between Cheltenham and Gloucester, but sadly this has now folded. So I believe that there is nothing now in Gloucestershire and Worcestershire, despite there being quite a high incidence of this devastating disease in these counties.
Chris went to Longfield Hospice for a day therapy every week for three months, which was good. His progression was quite rapid so only managed to get one set although I could have had more for him. This was initially recommended by our GP, but thereafter I was free to contact them directly.
We are all here for you on this journey, so keep on keeping on.
Anne
