Hi everyone, I'm new here. my hubby has recently confirmed in 2020 with psp. he was diagnosed with Parkinson's in 2015. unfortunately he kept to himself and still not feel comfortable to speak with family & friends. Since last year his symptoms go worse. he has few bad falls. bless him. its overwhelming at the moment how we don't know, how to deal with it, specially myself. He mostly depends on me. I am his career. Please anyone who can give advise! what will be the first step to take ?? how I start organizing things for him.

My one bit of advise would be, take a huge breath and concentrate on what your husband CAN do at the moment. Worry about the other stuff tomorrow.

Oh, and stay on this site, it will be your saviour.

Sending big hug and much love

Lots of love

Anne

Do what you can in your home to reduce risk of falls. Does he use a walker?

I finally had to walk with my husband everywhere, even with a walker.

Take one day at a time. Blessings.

Dear Nana, blessings for you too. thanks so much for your kind reply.. unfortunately, he's very proud man and give the impression that all okay even its not! I always walk with him where ever we go. I can't let him walk alone. not safe at all, he was 53 when diagnosed with Parkinson's and now at 58 with PSP. Very hard reality as his life is gone up side down suddenly. Please do remember us in your prayers. Stay well.. Love
