Saw this in the book reviews in 'The Times' today. It is 'The Wild Silence' which is a follow up to 'The Salt Path' which both follow the adventures of the writer Raynor Winn and husband Moth who has been diagnosed with CBD just after losing their home.

Don't worry, I get called all sorts at home, occasionally my own name. It can be from Uncle George, Auntie Mable, Grandad, or Mr Keith.

I'm not much of a book reader, but the way TV is going I might read more. Read a lot the newspapers and do their puzzles. Anyway, I've ordered the books, the new one comes out on 3rd Sept'.

I am so with you, the TV is no longer watchable. We watch You Tube videos on all sorts of things - local history, farming, classic cars, a man who converted his shed into a replica pub during lockdown to a channel that gets million of views, it has no spoken words, showing a guy restoring old tools - it's strangely calming.

The book created quite a debate on this site. I read the book and I wasn't convinced he had CBD as I know it.

But I must admit it is a good read.

When I read the review, I was surprised how much walking he managed. Anne was in wheelchair long before she was diagnosed.

I contacted the library to ask if they would be interested in purchasing this book. They said yes but there is some confusion as to the release date here in the states... 2021... but another release date is Sept 3, 2020. I guess l will call a book store and have them check. Granni B
