We had doctors appointment today we had to get up at 6 am and then leave our house at 7 to be at the dr by 8. Get 15 minutes from the office and my husband starts throwing up. We canceled the appointment and turned around to come home. I got him cleaned up and he stayed in bed all day. He got up to go to the bathroom and then fell and hit his head really hard getting back in bed. He now says that he is really dizzy and is still in bed. He just threw up again. Ugh

I realize that he threw up prior to falling and hitting his head BUT he has falling and thrown up again. My advice would be to call 911 and him taken to ER, least get checked out. Vomiting after a head injury could mean something more serious.

Throwing up and falling more often doesn’t sound good at all. I’m so sorry that you’re both going through this. I agree with Ron that your hubby needs to go to the ER. Being dizzy could be mean any number of things and it’s best to get him checked out. It’s been 9 hours since your post. Please let us know how he’s doing. Better, I hope?

Hope he is feeling better today. I know this is beside the point, but I always refused early appointments. Far to much stress for all concerned.

Sending big hug and much love

Lots of love

I agree, as my husband progressed with PSP we tried to set appointments between 11 and 1:30 if it required driving into the city, took snacks or sandwich with us.

I did the same. I had a window between 11 and 2 that I made all of our appts in. It was the least stressful.
