Whilst my husband has been having speech therapy for his PSP his voice has got a lot weaker and he is difficult to hear. Has anyone known of any electronic speech aids being used or of use to those with PSP. They only thing suggested by speech therapy was a microphone & that didn’t work as his speech is slurred. Many thanks.

Get a GoTalk. It’s easy to use and helps so much. Charles used to go out with it to restaurants etc. it made a good conversation piece as people were curious. It will ease the transition.

Take care.

Please see my posting re: apple I pad with a "text to speech" app.You load it with everyday phrases and all the user has to do is use the touch screen.

hope this helps,Acorneater.

If his voice is soft or constricted sounding, ask his SLP about this handy, inexpensive device: emst150.com/

It losens tight vocal muscles and allows for greater vocal strength. Hopefully, his SLP is LSVT certified.
