Perfect! Upon arrival they offered a table set with paint brushes and water (invisible ink), that we must paint to reveal our menu! Spectacular! Momma enjoyed this activity!
(I hope these posts do not annoy anyone — realizing it isn’t directly connected to questions / medical, but simply displaying the opportunity of finding the joy in each day as we fight back) Blessings to each of you!
These photos will bring me some joy of reflection in the future no doubt.

What a unique way to present a menu. I enjoy your posts and photos. It shows that however awful the condition is, good things can still happen. I have lovely memories and photos of my husband and I at the beach on 6th October when he indicated to my brother that he had enjoyed the day. He left me on 23rd. Even when he finally gave up, he still enjoyed music and seeing people, giving their hand a tight squeeze. A friend told me a couple of days ago that she will always remember how he squeezed her hand a few days before he died. Never stop having fun unless circumstances stop you.
No! Keep them coming! You show others another way of coping with this!
I love hearing what ingenious activity you have found to bring joy to your mum - and seeing it on her face!
I admire your energy and determination to give her so much joy despite her limitations and the increasing difficulties there must be in making it happen.
Mind you, anyone might think you had no family to look after besides your mum! Where do you get your energy? Your mum's smile and giggles?
Your posts give me a reason to smile along with you. When you take breaks from posting I always wonder if your mom is okay and how you’re holding up. I love your adventures and always look forward to the next photo. 🥰
I love seeing your posts and seeing how positive you are with your mother and all the activities. Keep them coming please. Are you on a Caribbean cruise? xx
If your posts bring a smile to one persons face or give one person an idea of something they can do with a loved one to make a memory and a day a little brighter, if they make someone think back to something they have done in the past and enjoyed, if they give you pleasure, then they are more than worthwhile. And I don't think I need to tell you that there are alot of us that love seeing your Mom's smile and hear of your latest idea to give her & yourself some fun. Keep posting Bazooka your posts are a great start to my day.
Kim, everyone loves your posts! Life is for living, which you are showing, even with PSP, you can still get pleasure from it. Of course, we can all read between the lines and know exactly what you and your Mum are going through.
Keep doing everything you are doing, but please, please remember there others in your life, most of all yourself. You can't afford to burn out, for your Mum's sake, make sure you are getting plenty of rest. Remember the new born baby rule, if the baby is asleep, so should you be! The same applies with caring.
Anne it’s as if you were sitting in on conversation with my husband and I 😌 Yesterday he advised me on the new born baby rule 🙂. Mom is sleeping a lot lately, an afternoon nap of like three hours for almost 2 weeks now has become a norm ... and then sleeping thru the night! It’s a lot ...
Our outings are very limited, but trying to make the most of any time we do have. As for reading between the lines ... BINGO, a picture can really disguise the reality. ((Hugs))
Do not apologize for making fantastic memories and sharing them with us. This journey is hard enough. Sharing these moments show others that life ( even with a horrible disease) can be good. Keep it going as long as possible. Hugs and prayers to you all. 🙏🙏❤️❤️
Look up GeorgePa's posts. He rarely posts anything about PSP. So looking forward to spring arriving and seeing another of his wonderful tales of Devon, UK!
Don't forget we are family and in this crazy one, we do and say anything we want, it's probably the only one in the world, that everyone clings on to every post and gets comfort from them. Carry on Kim!!!
My daughter took Mike to a pottery painting place last summer. They both enjoyed it and we have a pretty plate as a memory. I would never have thought of that as an activity! Please keep the posts coming and enjoy every minute with your lovely momma 😘
