The tradition I started last year.... my hummingbird is the first decoration on the tree, and will be the last off...

I hope all my friends on here are doing OK, sorry I haven’t been on much recently, a few things have been getting on top of me and I needed a timeout.

Love to you all!

Good to hear from you Derek. I bought some more hummingbirds this year and they are slightly different. Mine will also be the first on my tree when I get round to putting it up. I hope you know peace and joy this Christmas and in 2020.

Dear Derek

That is really beautiful.

We have missed you, hope your trip to the US went well, though holidays must be bitter/sweet without David.

As others have said the post PSP road is not without its challenges and we each have to cope in our own way. I have gone back to the Counsellor I saw previously and finding this really helpful - is this something you might find helpful too?

Sending you a big hug and hope the Christmas season passes as smoothly as possible for you.

Lots of love Tippy

Dear Derek, Tradition is a good thing to help remember those you have loved, hopefully memories of the good times and not the man stricken with PSP or its cousins. Sorry you have been having a tough time, grieving is a complicated process that is often not understood by others. Take care of yourself and also be kind to yourself.

Love Kate xxx
