PSP - numbness

Is numbness in feet and ankles a symptom of PSP? My husband has this as well as loss of sensation when he has a BM. I recall the movement disorder neurologist saying this is not a PSP symptom. He also has a multiple sclerosis diagnosis and these are MS symptoms so it's difficult to separate out these two diseases. The MS is very minor right now compared to the PSP.

Any thoughts on this? Thank you.

It is difficult to discern between the root of various symptoms when your loved one has more than one diagnosis. I can appreciate your frustrations. My husband seems to be suffering various problems due to his diabetes, which is causing a quick deterioration in his legs and numbness, at the moment....and possibly other stuff elsewhere, even though he isn't overweight.

Each day we face new challenges, but it helps knowing that we aren't alone, thanks to friends here. Personally, I have given up trying to identify causes, to be honest. It's trying to find ways of dealing with the symptoms that seems to use up most of my energy!

Hang on in there, Journeytojoy.

Love your name, by the way.xx
