One of the tiny things my husband enjoyed every day, was me getting him in the car, driving to a leafy spot in our local shopping centre and getting him a frappucino. He would sit with his eyes closed but he was calm and did enjoy it 😊

He did thanks it’s where we have worked together for the last 20 years so it’s like going home to Horace it’s his favourite place and he is always calm and relaxed when we are there

What a nice photo of you both. I used to live in Scarborough and my next door neighbour came from Hunmanby. She was a lovely lady. One of my long time friends now lives there but not sure where exactly. I see him when his sister arranged a party every few years!

I have been to the holiday housing development a couple of times! Can't recall the name of it though. Small world?

It sure is Marie, is it called the Bay where they have built the new holiday homes we have the cafe just near there on the cliff side, the views are amazing from Flamborough head to Filey

You won't believe this but I used to live on the cliffs! A little village named Bempton which you may know? Also lived in Driffield but only for a about 3 months. In case you are wondering about my travels around Yorkshire it was because my husband was in the RAF. He was based at the radar station (Staxton Wold) on the outside of Scarborough. They kept moving us however until I had enough of it, and we rented a property in Scarborough.

How long have you lived there? I didn't know about your cafe or would have had a coffee there. Last time I went was in 2017 the year my husband died. I haven't been back since then. You are right, it is the houses called The Bay where we stayed. Not cheap! Nice area though.
