PSP Conference Conclusion

The PSP Conference was very well done. The second day was geared to medical, caregiver and up to date information needed to help carers and patients.

The Association was so helpful and provided some fantastic largesse ie: a photo opportunity, by professional photographers, to take photos of ourselves and our loved ones. It was so sweet. There were attendees from far and wide including Japan, Ireland and Germany.

Many attendees needed any kind of answers we veterans could provide and I tried. The emotional aspects were difficult, especially for the widowed but it was worth attending. Meeting others and making friends, PSP does that doesn't it, darn it.

Video and slides from the conference will be available in a few weeks. They will have it on their YouTube page.

To see the listing of the paper material that was available at the conference please go to this link: psp.org/ineedsupport/resources/

Thank you for all your support. I'm still struggling but glad I attended.

Well done you! What you did was brave and very helpful to others I am sure. Not sure I am that brave but would like to think I might be. Think I am better on a one to one basis. I will be looking forward to seeing the recording.

Hugs.

Well done on helping the newly Dx families and patients. There are just some things you can't learn from a book and it takes hands-on doing, with failures along the way, to figure things out.

What a valuable contribution for you to be there and available to give help and information, I truly admire what you have done. It must have been painful at times but also cathartic too. Thanks from us all.

Well done Cuttercat. Glad you got something out of this conference as well as contributing.

Lots of love

Once more l am late to check pm chat... just now saw your message. My tablet does not allow me to reply.

We are in the Greater St. Louis area. If you saw the St. Louis Arch as you drove through it might have been possible for us to meet for coffee (which would have been lovely). I am so proud of you for attending the conference. Sending Hugs... Granni B
