Blood shot eye

A week or so I had asked if anyone had their loved one have burst blood vessels in their eyes as my husband use to get them off and on. He hasn't had any in a long time but this morning he got up and his left eye was all blood shot and his cheek bones were all swollen and it even looked like he had a bruise under his eye. He was also a little unsteady at first. After he was up for awhile the swelling went away. I really think this is part of his CBD. It scares me thinking his condition is changing. Am I just imaging this has anything to do with the CBD?

I would take him to a doctor and ask him the cause of the bleed, particularly since it has just happened.

My immediate thought is that it might indicate small blood vessel bleeds elsewhere, and that it may indicate susceptability for a stroke.

My husband had nothing like this, but did have dry eyes. At the time we did not link that to CBD, but it has happened to others here.

Get the doctor to also check your husband's meds to see if one of them is linked. If he is on blood thinners, that may be the cause.

Let us know what you find out.

Hugs

Thank you for your advise. I will keep you posted.

I had one for the first time in the last year. Showed it to Larry who said he had them in the past. I don’t think it has anything to do with the diesease.

Thank you for your response. I hope you’re right.

Hi Michigan341 and chat colleagues!

My wife has been suffering from PSP-RS for 7 years.

Two weeks ago she presented, for the first time and inexplicably, a swelling in the left eye surrounded by a bruise and in the center of the swelling a irregular red spot. There was no blood spill in the eye. Two days later a smaller swelling appeared next to the right eye and with a small reddish spot in the center. The areas with the red spot seemed to itch, as the patient scratched herself to the point of blood. We apply "Cristalmina", "Trombocid" and later "Sudocrem". Swelling and spots disappeared within a week.

Is it a symptom of PSP ?. Is it an allergic reaction to spring pollen?

I keep attentive to the experiences of my chat colleagues.

Greetings and thanks.

Luis

Thank you all for your input and wisdom. My husband mentioned to me the other day that he feels things are changing. Makes my heart break to hear this. Hard to try and understand all this.

My husband has had the same problem fairly often lately. I believe he is rubbing his eyes and causing the redness and swelling. His coordination is not good and his senses are also diminished.

I am just treating the redness with soothing compressed.
