Blood shot eyes

Just curious if anyone noticed this happening to your loved one with CBD. and I’m not even sure this has anything to do with this disorder. Several times during a few years before my husband was diagnosed with CBD his eye would get horribley blood shot like several blood vessels burst again no one could tell us why. Now I’m wondering looking back if this has anything to do with his condition.

My wife would have burst blood vessels in her eye about once a year, but they were small. This happened many years before she showed signs of CBD. It was not very noticeable, but she would indicate that it hurt. I would have never associated the two.

Isn’t this interesting. Sure makes me wonder now more then ever. And with my husband this was way before we had any inkling anything was wrong. Thank you for your response.

Ben also suffered with bloodshot eyes way before diagnosis, in hindsight his blink rate was much reduced and I think the dry eyes had some bearing on it.

I’m not sure if my husband had dry eyes or not. Doctors didn’t seem to know why this would happen. No mention of dry eyes. Thanks for responding.

Certainly in PSP, dry eyes are a problem, due to lack of blinking. I used eye drops - Artificial Tears from the pharmacy, as Steve's eyes would get sore.
