Cortico Basal Degeneration

My husband has CBD Cortico Basal Degeneration. He has had it for 5 years. He can't walk, his speech is going, his swallowing is bad and his hands are going now

My Mum has CBD about 5 years estimated now, she unfortunately also has PSP.

It’s a hard illness, my Mum sounds similar to your husband. She’s still just about walking but can’t use her left hand side of her body (arm, leg) really much at all as she has significant dystonia. She’s complaining her right hand is getting worse.

It’s so hard being the carer for someone you love as they deteriorate.

Welcome to this forum which, no one wants to join but, will give you so much support that they will feel like a family after a while so that you can say how you are truly feeling and when you cannot get answers to things.
