Hi sammy90210!

My wife has almost perfect teeth and since she was a child she has maintained the habit of daily intensive cleaning, perhaps too aggressive.

About 10-12 years ago (2006-2008), she suffered from "periodontitis" that was corrected professionally and appropriately.

In March 2019 it will be 7 years since he manifested the first specific symptoms of the disease (March 2012).

In case it was of interest for physicians studying PSP:

My wife, in the 20 years before the first symptoms of PSP (March 2012) showed a tendency to fall and stumble, osteoporosis, low blood pressure and some problem of inefficient blood flow (cold extremities).

Hi, I saw this yesterday and found it very interesting especially as they think the tau mutation may be a reaction to protect the brain from the bacteria, which is similar to the way the body reacts to other things like allergies or inflamation.

Lets hope it helps them to find a cure !

hi EC :) I am doing well - just me and my mom now, I am working and trying to start my own IT startup...

how are you doing? I hope you are taking good care of your health - I insist on taking my mom for walks in nature-ish kind of surroundings, it helps

I'm taking care of my mother, too. She doesn't walk much, so we go for drives in the country on the weekend, when the snow permits. What sort of nature-ish places do you go to? I'm really wishing you the best with your start-up. Wish I could ask an intelligent question about it!

Hi EC - it's wonderful to hear you are taking care of your mom - going out on drives sounds like a great way to enjoy, specially if you are surrounded by trees and mountains

We live near Islamabad, the capital city of Pakistan and it's surrounded by hills, so sometimes we go up those hills and in the summers we drive a further bit up north - it gets 35 C+ in the summers but it's pretty chill 2 hours up into the hills that are farther away

In my startup I want to digitize the work that medical representatives do - these days in Pakistan, they still mark their doctor visits using paper and pen and I am making a mobile app for that - very old-school as far as the US is concerned, it's been done there 15+ years ago but I hope to capture some customers here - the urge to own my own business and not work for "the man" is very strong for me at my age (I just turned 40) :)
