Good Morning Luis,

I remember when you sent me this photo. It was helpful but we have not move forward with our project... not yet sure we will be staying in our home.

I do want to ask about the floor & the shower drain... my husband thinks there needs to be a small lip to keep water from going everywhere... is there a slight slant to the floor we cannot see in the photo?

Hi Granni B!

Yes. The shower plate has a slight but sufficient inclination towards the sump. If the underlying drainage pipes have a good slope, there will be no problems.

It is advisable that the fastening of the curtains be mobile to adjust that the splashes of water do not hang off the shower plate.

Thank you Luis... this is very helpful. I believe we will at some time move forward with our project ... just not sure if it will be in this home or the next. Everyone was so good to share ideas for my new water room ... l hope to post a picture of it someday... in the unknown future. Granni B
