She is much the same.

We had the dietician in who said she was going to put in for hi cal drinks, but qualified it by saying they were expensive so she could not confirm we could get them.

I gently pointed put that if there was a clinical need then the NHS could not refuse. I think she got my message, but sadly she repeated that it was about cost. The NHS is strictly forbidden to consider cost for clinical need , as you know.

It's scary that NHS clinicians even dare go this way... but they are under huge pressure from their managements.

I do hope her management goes the right way. I hate using a fly swat.

Liz was great today. Many hugs and kisses. I told her the news, particularly about her cat, which she lives to hear. Also showed her Greorgpa's post about Millie. She smiled about that. She loves Cats, particularly wilful ones.

I hope you are doing OK... You are a wonderful trojan for folks in your politics role.

Kevin you will not believe this given the torture we all go through to get CHC, or indeed to talk to anyone in the department? I actually had a phone call from them this morning. I didn't hear the phone ring so rang this person back later.

Because I have been rattling a few cages she wants to meet me for a coffee and chat. Can you believe it? If I had just had a chat when G was so ill I would have been delighted. This has nothing to do with him just me being a bit like George's cat! 😃

So a lesson there? Contact anyone you have to in order to get high calorie drinks for Liz. If they drag their heels tell them you will contact the CQC. It always worked for me. About the only thing that did it has to be said!

Glad Liz is still interested to hear the news about her cat. She must have been delighted to get the stories about Millie too?

Never --its always nature programs nature programs and more nature programs . I don't think she has quite worked out that sharks aren't really the same size as they are on the TV .

Brilliant George, your comment re the Sharks brought a huge smile to my face. When it's raining our Millie will not go out, hates to get her paws dirty. She'll stick her nose out of the cat flap, dive back in and runs to the front door and will meaoww for that door to be opened just to check whether it's raining at the front, then back to cat flap just in case the situation has changed there - never fails to entertain. Our moggie won't use the cat flap. Even in mid winter she demands first the back door opened and then the front, which means I have to close the back door first to stop a gale blowing through the house and then she will, like your cat, want the back door again.

I've laid down strict rules... useless.

It never fails to amuse me, Kevin, when Millie shoots me the most disapproving look as if it's my fault it's raining back and front of house. People wrongly think that cats lack personality, how wrong can they be? Cats rule and we serve. Have a good day. HilsandR
