Took the family camping, last trip of the year since it'll soon be to cold. The leaves here are at about peak color, been a dry summer, and rained overnight. This is the view from my campsite this morning.

Way to go We used to love camping - although we gave up tenting back in the early 90's, LOL... We were RV'ers for many years, and autumn was our favourite time. Enjoy!!

Wow, Anne, what a neat memory (ies).

I'm not that adventurous. When younger I use to spend many a day at the beach.....but I am not a swimmer (except in a pool for exercise, and now I can't remember the last time I did that). In Los Angeles the seasons are very very subtle.....mostly sunny, more heat in the summer, and if we are lucky some rain in winter.

I’m watching the trees change in Philadelphia. The color isn’t as bright as they use to be. This year the color is very deep but muted. Think the heat must have something to do with it. We had plenty of rain August and September.

This is kind of mid-Missouri, USA. I love the state, the nice seasonal changes but can't stand the humidity in summer!
