I know this originally was for Alzheimer's but it is so true of other neurological conditions.

Superb.
I need to tattoo that on my forehead some days.
Thanks for sharing
That's heartbreakingly sad, beautiful and so true. I found the loss of my husband through the cognitive damage so much harder to deal with than the physical demands (..with acknowledgment that his physical decline never got as bad as many, before his end..).
I wish I could give you a huge hug in person..but this will have to do XXX

Oh Anne G
I too find the lack of cognitive function so frustrating. Chris is now losing his speech which is so hard. It'll be interesting to see the specialist nurse on Friday for her input. We are blessed to have very supportive NHS professionals on hand. The local team have first hand experience of PSP as there was an earlier case in the town.
I hope you're looking after your self.
A huge hug to you too

Thank you for sharing. It is so touching. As you say the words can be related to other conditions too. Heartbreaking isn't it? All the many people who suffer from neurological conditions and their carers must be able to go around the world and back!

I am crying as I read that poem. It is just as I imagine my husband would say to me if he could.......... X

Thank you for sharing this poem. I read this same poem over and over many times to help me get through the terrible days my husband had before he left us in March.
