That is truly lovely. We have an amazing view and cherry and plum tree blossom here and the garden currently looks so beautiful. I will miss it terribly when we move but I know it is the right decision for our future.

Beautiful! When Heady and I flew home last week, we could see lots of oil seed rape fields from the air. I remember the day many years ago when I saw the first one in our area and thinking how beautiful it was. A lovely p,ace to have an allotment.

Hey George that is amazingly beautiful. I love the rapeseed but the apple tree even more! Now thinking ahead to when the apples grow. We will have to book a photo of that too!

Hugs to you.

What an idyllic spot for an allotment George, I had to give up my plot when Ben was diagnosed, I loved spending time there and just being in the moment. My view was lovely but nowhere near as beautiful as that.

Keep digging!

Whats an "allotment"?

An allotment is a parcel of land which you can rent primarily for growing vegetables .Villages and towns have areas set aside which are then divided up into smaller parcels of land and rented out quite cheaply .They are especially wellcome in cities by people living in flats (apartments) and who don’t have access to a garden . They are a great British institution .

What a great vista, rolling meadows and oak trees.

Apple blossom is one of my great delights... Pretty and full of promise.

Thanks for sharing.
