Silent Partner

I haven't posted for awhile because I've been really sick with upper respiratory infection and laryngitis!! Know how Charles feels everyday. I'm getting better but it's been interesting being the silent partner.

We are stable. Eating but lost another two inches. Quiet most days and less responsive but still happy together and find some enjoyment each day.

Have come to a deep understanding and determination. Nothing really matters anymore but us.

Glad you're feeling better Cutter, and I can relate to your realization: no matter how hard this trip is, at least our loved ones are still with us. Difficult to "feel" that appreciation some days. I know the day will come when hubby isn't here anymore, and I'll wish for these days back....
