A very successful Cornish holiday.......

This is the view from the holiday house that we rent each year.

To get to the small beach you have to negotiate a tricky narrow rocky path and the video link shows how I managed to get up and down safely.

Brilliant! Who thought of that, I wonder? I wish I had seen this a year ago. The coast looks gorgeous. Your photograph is beautiful - could it really be that green?

I came up with the idea .

The green.......this from a poem by William Blake.

'Till we have built Jerusalem,

In England's green & pleasant Land.'

I really think it's great, a genius idea. We did a fair amount of walking on rough ground; I bet it would have made us all feel more secure if we had had mobile railings like yours. I hope everyone on this site is watching; it's sure to help someone!

My helpers had no problems and very little effort was needed to give me the support I needed.....

First time I saw Ireland from the air I was stunned by the vivid green. Like a fairy tale.

You are brilliant! Love it. Love the view too. Jerusalem was one of the hymns we had at Garry's funeral. It is so lovely.

Crikey! Just heard Kensington has been won by Labour by 20 votes! Now who would have thought that?

Please don't publish this too widely Bargie

In the current economic climate the ambulance service might adopt it.

A 'self help stretcher'.

;)

I have tremendous admiration for your fortitude and determination.

Best

Bargiepat,

Try never to loose that passion to persevere through the toughest of times ,you are an inspiration to this and all similar communities. My wife of many years has fought this disease for at least 6 yrs and we still think of it as a battle against PSP......I have read your messages to her ,and will show this picture to her in hopes that she will be as inspired as me .... and pursue similar avenues. ...Thank you for sharing!...jeff

The shoes have incredible soles that are non slip.......... they feel as though you can walk on vertical rocks even when the rocks are wet !

Hello Bargiepat,

This is inspirational and so clever! I'm going to take mobile railings on holiday with us for my brother.

And what a stunning location. The photograph is beautiful.

Thank you for sharing this innovative idea and so glad to hear your Cornish holiday was very successful.

All best wishes, EE (new to community)
