Hello all fellow carers/sufferers and families of PSP. Sorry i havent participated much lately but i have read all your posts, be they tearful sad, heady, or amusing or the other marie's lovely irish blessing. We do them well i think. Ì have spent the last 10 days, 10 hours as a time, with hubby gerry in northwick pk hosp. He was admitted after a bad reaction to a bisphosphonate intravenous infusion for his osteoporosis, a bladder infection, bowels not working and dehydration, and all at the same time. After about 6 days when i thought he would be home he got a chest infection which set his recovery back. But alls well that ends well. The wonderful ambulance people managed to get us home to the family, , who were doing all the cooking, at 3 pm christmas day. Yippee. The kids and grandkids were delighted, and so was I.

I do hope you all managed to have some peace and happiness at this time. God bless you all. Marie

Hi Marie. Glad to hear that you are back home. Hopefully Gerry is recovering well - too many things to have all in one go. Enjoy the time with your family. Love Maddy xx
