Good job mate...! It's nice to have those in the know, isn't it? I hope your mum gets all that she needs...and I hate tell you this but don't rest on your laurels as I think fighting these peop;e or at least keeping them on their toes is essential!

Fantastic news. Breathe again now this fight is over.
I've got to compile an appeal letter but just can't face it and it has sat there for weeks! . This has spurred me to get on it.
Thank goodness for that! BUT BUT please don't think this sorts all problems. They have agreed to pay for all help, but finding any is the big issue. Still, that is now their problem, you have some one in your corner and that, Richmond, is worth its weight in gold.
Lots of love

Hmmm, well. I was told Mum had full CHC funding over three weeks ago I'm still managing completely alone and haven't heard a word from anyone yet. I'm beginning to wonder if this is a new tactic....admit they need it (how can they not?) then run away and hide and hope they die in the interim. No honestly I'm not cynical just jaded, knackered, lost, exhausted and, OK cynical.
Well done, so pleased it's worked out for you all, sad that you have to fight but worth it in the end!
Hugs....Pat xx
Well done glad you got CHC shame it took 2 years, and thanks to Kevin, he is so helpful and he has so much to cope with as well, we are all going down this terrible PSP road, we should not have to fight to get what our loved ones are entitled to xxxxx
Well done. I'm just wondering at what stage people with PSP have to be late the get CHC. Anyone know.
Now that's great news !! Well done after all that fighting ... and breath!
I am in very early process of trying to arrange this care for mum and Dr has rang to organise a district nurse to assess mum but that's all I've heard! I will be ringing her back Monday!
I have my mum staying with me this week and it's been lovely to spend time with her as always xxx
Well done and I also would like to thank Kevin for his support, his advise has certainly already helped folk to get the funding.
Love Kate xx
