Unexpected wedding invitation.

Very funny and uplifting day yesterday. I had managed to have coffee with 3 friends when a lovely young lady came to our table and asked if we would be witnesses at her wedding to which we agreed. We followed her to the registry office and were met by her husband to be and their little boy. He was a huge muscle bound chap. The ceremony went ahead, I looked after the little boy as he was shouting share his snack with them, my friend was photographer. After the ceremony the photos were taken, hugs for the bride and groom and lots of laughs. One of my friends is a rugby fan and asked if he was a rugby player and if so who did he play for. He was a very modest man and said he played for a well known club. As we departed the registrar escorted us out and told us he was also an England player. Not going to disclose his name just in case it leaks out as I think that they wanted to keep it very private. What a great day. Xxx
