Hallo you lovely lot,

Sorry I have been somewhat absent recently, a little too much juggling going on in this household so haven't had the time or the energy to type anything (not much good for a life Coach :-)

Thank you for all your previous comments about missing my Mum - your love and support wrapped itself around me. I have been to see her since and although I found her deterioration really shocking, we still managed lots of hugs and kisses although I wasn't that keen on the night time falls - that shakes you up a bit doesn't it??

I won't patronise any of you by saying "I hope you're all ok?" as I know you're not but please know that you are in my thoughts often and i still find you a remarkable bunch of human beings that inspire me on a daily basis.

Kate xx

Kate glad you had a lot of cuddles and kisses, with your mum. Night time falls are horrible, trying to get the up when it is late, a struggle, this horrible illness takes it out of everyone.

It has been quite on here, the last few days, glad you are feeling a bit better.

Sending you a big hug. Yvonne xxxxxx

I'm sure your mum and dad enjoyed your visit as much as we enjoy visits from our sons. I haven't read anything from your dad lately and was wondering today how he was, although I may have missed a post or two.

I trust he is struggling on ok.

Lovely to hear from you, Kate. You said it, it does shake you up. Somehow hearing that from someone else always makes me feel less alone, so thanks for keeping in touch. Hang on. Love, ec

Kate I haven't been on here much either because I am really worn out with the daily battle. Thankfully we don't have much night activity because of effective sleep meds. Three times this year is all but that is enough. My daughter, 32 and single, lands on Tuesday. She is moving in to help and also try her hand as a self-employed designer using converted shed as a workshop/studio. Well it will be fully converted shortly after she arrives. Now the power cables are in and man is coming to plaster this weekend. On arrival she'll choose tile for floor and light fittings then tiler and electrician will come and finish off. She wil paint and has persuaded a friend to come out for a week and also wield a brush and roller. Needless to say I am ecstatic about this as it feels like my world has shrunk over past few months. Specifically the last two and a bit when we haven't had anyone staying so it's been just me and the increasingly taciturn Chris and a lot of bootleg DVD box sets. And it has been really hot this summer which is not an issue here at home as we live in an undeveloped village with empty space around us and a large shady garden. But it has put us off going into town which C enjoys for the people watching. However temp will start to drop from next week so trips out will be able to happen again. And the main thing is here we are still here, plodding on. Take care of yourself.
