Stopping in to say hello to my dear friends! Mom and I sharing a selfie moment yesterday, after my return home from a four day business trip. Doesn’t she look good?!?!
After 3 years, I am back to work part-time in our family business. It feels so good -
The decision was made out of necessity due to COVID wreaking havoc on our business. Two times we tried a facility, and they were both major fails! I am so happy to report that I have found a caregiver that stays with Mom (in our home) from Wednesday - Saturday while I manage to get some business accomplished.
As you can see … Momma is all smiles, and this heart of mine is doing cartwheels upon my return.
Counting my blessings!

Wow. Both looking good. Smile is still there. Love it. Well done on the business front. It's a definite necessity to take your mind of the caring setup. Good luck and best wishes to you both.🤗💖❤️
Lovely photo. Sounds a good fit for you all. I continued to work part time whilst caring for my hubby- kept me sane, though tiring it is just a little bit of headspace which we all need. Love to you both
So happy to read this … you have found the right balance for both you and your mum . When you return from work you are refreshed and able to enjoy your mum again and she will get a buzz out of seeing you .. this is such a positive way forward . I hope others who are trying to do all the caring themselves read this and get the confidence from it to follow you … good luck and love to your mum ❤️
Really pleased you have got some balance in your life and you both look so happy. Long may it last. I notice your mother has got her hand clenched. John used to do that xx
So good to see your happy faces today!!! Glad things are falling in place for your work and caregiving needs for Momma. Even a little return to balance is renewing.
