My dear wife, Marguerite, of 50 years, passed away peacefully and comfortably at home after over 6 years suffering with this horrific PSP disease. She was surrounded by her loving family during the last days.
Although grieving started from the time of my wife's diagnosis in 2011, my family and I are devastated and need time to deal with further grieving. I will return to this site at later date.
Tony I am so sorry I misread your message and so part of my reply was inappropriate .Veronica and I have been married nearly as long as you and to lose your lifelong partner must be devastating -I dare not look ahead .
Dear Tony, so sorry to hear that your wife has passed away. Remember it will still be one day at a time, while you fight this final battle PSP throws at you.

as heady says 1 day at a time - which is easier said than done
Sorry about your sad news, PSP makes the grieving process a long one as seems to start from the day of diagnosis and continue after the loss of the person you loved. How cruel. My thoughts are with you.
Thinking of you at this sad time. We have been married for 53 years and its impossible to anticipate losing each other. The loss starts long before when P/S.P. started but its still the final one.
