Personal Health Budget

I told you a few weeks ago that I was being assest for the phb. After a visit from social worker and specialist nurse (both very helpful) My application was successful and I have been granted 42hrs PA cover. This is a step towards phb as I believe the first people to be offered phb funding are the ones (like me now) who receive continuing health care. I come under notes county council. So 50% funding between the and ncc.

I THINK THAT'S WHAT I NEED HOW DO I APPLY ............ Y????????? I'M SO GLAD THAT IS A CONCERN FOR PEOPLE LIKE US. IS IT GOVERNMENT PLAN HOW DO I SEE IF I WILL BE ACCEPTED. I HAVE PART TIME HELP. I MAY BE ABLE TO GET HELP FOR MY NIGHT. I'M GOING TO LOOK INTO IT GOOD.LUCK.

1st step) I got an assessment from social services which if request they have to carry out within a specific time scale.

2nd step) requested an assessment for continued health care, funded by NHS. Successful assessment agreed to go 50 / 50 with social services.

3rd step) once you have both above agreed , YOU become entitled to be assessed for a personal health budget.

It seems a long road to go down but step 1 & 2 have to be done within certain timescales. Search Google for PHB.

Allan can I ask ,your 42 hours pa ( I guess that's personal assistance) what does that mean you get?? And if you got the PHB what difference has that made and what do you get ??
