I read a post the other day about this and thought it might help those out there who don't know about it to look into it.

In April 2014 the NHS rolled the Personal Health Budget out to all those receiving NHS continued care. In Oct 2014 it was rolled out to all those who had long term conditions and disabilities and is there to give you the choice and control over what healthcare you require. Very much like Direct payments the social services provide.
