Possible CBD

Hi, my husband has been given a diagnosis of possible CBD, awaiting MRI results. I have read up on this terrible disease and fear the worst. So glad to have found this forum and that we are not alone.

Don't despair there are a lot of good people on this site who will help you through it. I only joined a few weeks ago as my wife was only recently diagnosed with PSP and the support and encouragement I have received has really helped me overcome my initial feelings of helplessness. Keep posting your thoughts whatever they are and you will get some wonderful feedback from people who have been and are going through exactly the same things as you . For me it has been an absolute lifeline . George

There is a wealth of knowledge on this forum. You need only ask and you will receive some great information and help. Of course PSP, CBD, and MSA are cousins so there are many common things in them all. That is why the USA organization CurePSP.org deals with them all. There were tough days/weeks for all of us dealing with any of these diseases and we all seem to survive to some extent during the process. Stay strong and remember, others have been there and done that so you can do it too. Stay strong! Your family and friends will be watching. Help them marvel at how you deal with this terrible situation. Hugs, Jimbo

welcome to this wonderful group. If anything good comes out of these horrible illnesses it is realizing that you are not alone. That life creates a fellowship of shared experiences that are actually normal and that we are not doing it wrong or badly but just doing a loving job in an impossible situation. Keep writing it helps.

Welcome. This site is wonderful and has answered many questions. My husband was twice diagnosed with CBD, which seems to be #2 of Parkensons Plus. This was in May, 2013. He is progressing rapidly I'm sorry to say, but still my favorite guy.

Thanks to all for your kind words. We have been told that the neuro consultant will have MRI results tomorrow so hopefully we will know if it is CBD .
