Hi Jill, sorry your dad isn't well. It's horrible watching someone you have known all your life nearing the end of theirs. We were with my dad in October when he left us at 97 and I was very grateful we got there on time. You take care and maybe God give you His peace at this difficult time.
Jill I'm sorry that your dad is poorly but at least you have been able to make the trip to be with him and he will take comfort from the fact you are there telling him how much you love him.
Will be thinking of you. Big hugs to you all. Janexx
Dear Jill, I just want you to know that I'm thinking of you and wish you strength, love and peace at this hard time. It's good you are able to be home with your father. Be well, Easterncedar

Sorry to hear about your dad. You both must be glad to be together at this time. My dad died aged 98 and I managed to be with him when he died. It was a great comfort to him and me. Jill I'm thinking of you, take care. Love maddy
dad is much better than he was a week ago and is now talking some sense but still has an infection which they need to get to the bottom of b4 he can eb moved anywhere else - he thinks he can go back to his "home' BUT we will have to wait and see - it may eb that he will need 24 hour nursing fare in which case he cannot go back to the care home

Sounds like really tough old fellow. I guess we know where you got your grit, Jill. I hope you are able to enjoy being home in Yorkshire with all you have to worry about. Lots of love and a smile back to you, friend. Easterncedar
