Wondered if anyone with cbd , msa or PSP has also had melanoma.?

I had melanoma up to about five years before my cbd diagnosis. Anyone had similar experiences ?

I couldnt find a link in a quick search of the literature. But it does raise a general question about multiple pathology and why some people get lots of illnesses. It does happen, it was about the first thing I was taught when I studies pathology some 30 years ago. Best wishes to you, keep going

I guess pathology is the study of blood. Hope I got that right! . just before I was diagnosed I had a raised creatinine kinaise level. don't think it was majorly high but it did cause me to keep chasing a reason for why I was feeling ill all the time ! I had to ask my gp for a neurology referral in the end . wondered if you'd come across anything

I've had three melanomas in my life but no PSP. My wife had PSP but no melanoma. I was very fortunate to catch my melanoma before it penetrated enough centimeters to take my life. I'd be surprised if there was a connection between melanoma and any of these diseases. Jimbo

Hi jimbo. Yes mine was caught early too and they took quite a big part of my skin on my chest away to ensure it didn't come back . Seems nothing to what I have to cope with right now. Although I know it can be very serious . May you stay clear of any more of them ! :)thanks . Ryan

My first one was in the late 60s on my arm front near elbow. In those days the surgery was much more extensive than today. They took a large patch off my arm, another strip all the way up my arm and under my arm pit. Done to make sure it hadn't migrated. These days they know more about it and if caught early surgery isn't as invasive. Jimbo
