Turny Orbit front passenger OR drivers seat, plus hoist Suit anyone with Mobility Issues.

I bought a Turny Orbit electrically operated seat along with a 100Kg Lift hoist to put my husband's wheelchair into the boot of my car.

I paid almost £4000 a couple of years ago.

He barely sat in it two dozen times before he was too ill to be taken out of the house and died a few months later

The link above is a photo of my actual car and myself once I had bought the car and had the seat fitted.

If your car is NOT a Ford S-Max of Ford Galaxy, I understand that a new Register plate for the floor of the car will have to be bought. The Cost, I believe is around £500.

(I will stand corrected on that). Engineers are available Nationwide who will come and fit the chair into your vehicle. I am unsure of the cost of said fitting, as I only paid the one price for everything which included the removal of passenger seat and installation of the Hoist and the Turny Orbit Seat

I had mine installed by Auto Adapt. Here is the link to the website. There are many other companies who sell and would fit this seat

I am open to offers for this seat but will consider ANY sensible offer.

Unfortunately, due to its weight, it will have to be a Collection only as it needs two VERY stong people to move it.

Collection is TN6 postal code.

As a little extra information, I found this seat absolutely invaluable for taking my husband anywhere. He was unable to move his legs at all but by putting a turning disc on the floor in front of his wheelchair, I was able to get him to stand, turned him around until his back was to the seat. I already had the seat position lowered to the top of his legs for ease of sitting. Then, with the remote control button,it just lifted him up to car level, then turned sideways and he was able to sit in the front passenger seat beside me. I wanted it that way, rather than push him, in his wheelchair, into the back of say, a Citroen Berlingo, where he would have been seated in the back.

I would never have heard him speak as his voice was just a whisper.

Thank you for reading. I just want somebody to have this seat as it is a waste leaving it in my garage.
