Regarding anesthesia

For those who so helpfully answered my question about the possible danger in using anesthesia for a minor procedure, Heady, Strelley, Goldcap, Alana, carolinesimmons, Sawa and Jimbo, I want to say thanks again. The doctor was fine with trying it with a local, warning that he would stop if my guy expressed too much discomfort. My guy toughed it out today. I was there and could see that it wasn't easy, but he said afterwards, "I'm glad I didn't have anesthesia for THAT." What a trouper. I was so relieved. Thanks, everyone, for helping us to make this clearly correct decision! This site is such a wonderful resource and a comfort. On we go!

Hi again, glad to hear that your hubby got through his op fine, without being put under. Much easier to recover, regardless of all the PSP problems! So now I suppose you really do have to put your nurses uniform on!!! Hope you have a good patient, I understand that those who play up, get cold bed baths!!!

Lots of love

Hi Peter,

This site is trying out a new layout, which they have me and no doubt, others to try. It really is not good!!! Various bad issues, that lots of users will struggle with, so I am moaning big style to them every day and trying to make my point on site! Unfortunately, HEALTHUNLOCKED don't reply to the emails that are sent to them, so I not sure if anything is being done!

Hi Easterncedar. So glad you and hubby made it through his op. Tough and tricky decisions at every turn with this wretched psp but thank goodness for the support and anecdotal advice from everyone on this side. Glad I could help a bit in my own little way.

Thanks, Jill. Doesn't it seem that psp should be enough for a person to deal with !? Glad you got through your operation so well. Hang in there, friend. You're one of the reasons this site is so good. Best, Easterncedar
