hi sha

I do not dream any more but if I did I would be ok!

lol jill

Hi shasha

What a fascinating question! I'm out of my depth with this one, especially since it's my wife who has PSP. She says she never dreams (although it's more likely she forgets them instantly on waking).....neither now nor before PSP diagnosis!

Just for interest's sake - When I dream , I'm always young, and my wife is young too. I have recently dreamt about her with PSP symptoms, but again she is young and not old.

Dreams are fascinating things, and mainly to do with the thousands of bits of data we receive each day being compiled and stored, and in this complex process, old bits of data are released and mixed with the new data (often reflecting our fears and insecurities, and other emotions both good and bad). Hence, the weird, wonderful and sometimes frightening world of dreams. Well, that's my theory anyway. Probably a load of rubbish really!

All the best and pleasant dreams!

OH - ONLY EVERY NIGHT.

I've not brought it up 'cause I felt a little weird about it, but I have told my Doc. I feel the some of the SAME symptoms in my dreams; very unpleasant; very uncomfortable; very disturbing. Can't get away from it.

It ties in further to my severe sleep apnea. I'm leaving soon to go see those people to get fitted for a different mask. It's been kind of an epic failure the past month.

I'd like to get back to this subject later today to share info.

I actually started having a reocurring dream back in 2008 in which I had an undiagnosed neurological disorder. In these dreams, I'd fall down a lot, or move so slowly and painfully I couldn't keep up with anyone etc. Those dreams literally stopped when I was diagnosed during 8-12. Told my Doc about that too. Didn't poo-poo me. More like amazed.

Now the dreams about PSP have switched up a bit.

THANK YOU so much for bringing this topic up. I feel a lot less lonely:)
