Hi

My dad suffers with PSP and he can no longer write. His hand writing did become smaller and smaller over the years. I think this is a very common thing in PSP sufferers

My husband has always had a very small script. But now he cannot write at

all. Worked in an office all of his life. But all of his writing ability has gone.

Hi

As already said by the others my dad had very small writing which was quite spidery as well. He got to the point where he couldn't write at all. Sorry its yet another aspect of PSP.

It's amazing reading the answers to this question. My husband has always had very small hand writing, it used to be very neat and legible, now it's extremely small and at time completely illegible.

Love to you all.

My mum has never had the nearest handwriting but the deterioration has come over the past couple of years and it is now illegible... another thing robbed of these poor people who suffer at the relentless hands of PSP, sending love xx

Another "yes" here!!

This was one of Mum's early symptoms. Her writing gradually got smaller and smaller and is now completely illegible.

PSP SUCKS!!!

Yes - my dad has psp and he told me this was the first 'sympton' he noticed which made him think something was wrong. This was quite some time before he got the diagnosis of psp.

hello Camper - I hope my reply is not too late. Like the other responders my handwriting is now totally illegible and having worked all my career in

touch typing secretarial roles the biggest blow is my inability to type. i now have to rely on voice recognition software (WINDOWS 7) but have to check my documents really well as some of the words come out of gobbledegook sometimes. This has caused much amusement to my husband and I as I struggle to master the finer points of of the software!. Take care SueW xx

Small signature was one of the signs that led us to a PSP diagnosis along with frequent imbalance and falls.
